About this policy
This policy applies to the TripSetGo web planner, Android app and associated website. TripSetGo helps you organise trips, checklists, expenses, notes and travel documents.
Account information
When you sign in, we use your name and email address to identify your account and send one-time verification codes. You do not need to create a password.
Trip information
Trips, dates, checklists, expenses, notes and related preferences may be stored on TripSetGo’s servers so authenticated features can work across the web planner and supported app experiences.
Offline documents and local profile photos
Documents added through the web planner are stored locally in that browser using browser storage. Web profile photos are also stored locally. These files are not uploaded through the TripSetGo document API and do not sync to another browser or device.
Clearing browser data, using private browsing, changing devices or uninstalling the browser may permanently remove locally stored files. Keep an original copy of every important travel document.
Technical information
We may receive limited technical details required to operate and improve the service, such as browser or device type, operating-system version, app version, error reports, security logs and aggregated usage information.
How information is used
- Provide sign-in and trip-planning functionality.
- Protect accounts and prevent abuse.
- Diagnose problems and improve reliability.
- Respond to support and account requests.
Sharing and sale of data
TripSetGo does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate email delivery, hosting, security and analytics, subject to their respective safeguards and policies. We may also disclose information when legally required.
Data retention and deletion
Account and trip information is retained while needed to provide the service or meet legal and security obligations. To request account deletion or ask a privacy question, use the contact page below.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service or device-storage method can guarantee absolute security. Protect access to your email account and devices.
